Cortisol or stress profile? The cortisol test measures the morning value, the stress profile the course over the whole day. DHEA is not included in either and is tested separately.
Florastatus, Gut Health Check or Microbiome Plus? Florastatus focuses on the gut flora; the Gut Health Check adds fungi and digestive residues; Microbiome Plus includes the Gut Health Check plus additional markers such as zonulin.
How it works
- Order: add the test to your cart; shipped with DHL (1–3 working days within Germany).
- Sample at home: instructions and all materials are in the kit. Plan the return shipment as instructed – for the Gut Health Check, for example, Monday to Thursday.
- Send to the lab: in the enclosed envelope (prepaid, depending on the test).
- Get your results: by post or online, after about 5–7 or around 14 working days depending on the test.
- Results review (optional): we explain the values and derive recommendations for your diet – request an appointment.
Results review in your language
Olha Bezuhla, nutrition counsellor (Ernährungsberaterin) at the Zentrum für Prävention und Ernährung, reviews your Medivere results in English, German, Russian or Ukrainian – in person in Berlin (Joachim-Karnatz-Allee 47, 10557 Berlin) or online via video call.
FAQ
Do I need a prescription or referral?
No. You can order the tests directly in our shop and pay for them yourself.
Is the results review included in the test price?
No. The written report comes from the lab; a personal results review can be booked separately (€150).
How quickly will the kit arrive?
We ship with DHL; delivery within Germany takes 1–3 working days.
Can a home test give a diagnosis?
No. A lab value is an indication that has to be assessed together with symptoms and other findings. If a result is abnormal – for example a positive Helicobacter test – please see your doctor.
How is this different from Genova tests?
Medivere tests are single home tests you order yourself. Genova Diagnostics lab tests are more comprehensive profiles that we order for you after an initial consultation.
